Jeremiah Charles Haskell, 25, of Farmington passed away on Friday, July 28, 2006, in Albuquerque. Jeremiah was born in Shiprock on March 12, 1981, the son of George Haskell of Farmington and mother, Vera "Toni" Haskell of Albuquerque.
Jeremiah attended Highland High School in his teen years. He had great talent in art and jewelry. One of his proud accomplishments was a mural he designed and painted at the Highland High School gym. Jeremiah proudly exhibited and sold his jewelry in Albuquerque. His last piece of jewelry will remain with his Mom forever. Apart from art and jewelry design, he enjoyed construction work.
Jeremiah was a quiet, reserved, humble, gentle and loving person. He always sang to his Mom a song called "Dear Momma," each time he'd see her. Throughout all their trials and tribulations, Jeremiah and his Mom remained inseparable.
Jeremiah was preceded in death by his brother, Levon Haskell; aunt, Sheri Campbell; and great-grandparents, John and Nancy Redhouse.
Jeremiah is survived by his grandmother, Annabell Harrison of Red Valley, Ariz.; his grandfather, Robert Harrison of Cove, Ariz.; stepmother, Irma Harrison; sisters, Amber, Marissa and Phoebe of Farmington; brother, Jovan Lovato of Phoenix, Ariz.; aunts and spouses, Rozanna Roxy Harrison and Allen Cook of Albuquerque, Ida Harrison and John E. Baker of Kirtland, Lori and Phillip Hewlett of Denver, Colo., and Verni and Bill Yazza of Waterflow. Also surviving Jeremiah are his cousins, Kordell and Donna Rae Saenz, Saasha Campbell, Aero, Brian Weaver, Ciara-Kyra Baker, Tyler Baker, Burk Benally, Jake and Alec Hewlett, Anna and Yanni Yazza; family friend, James Roberts; and numerous nieces and nephews.
