Linda G. Haskell, 67, of Terre Haute, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2008, in her residence after an extended illness. She was born Oct. 10, 1940, in Vigo County, to Forrest W. Lindsay Sr. and Lois Beverly Loudermilk Lindsay.
Survivors include her husband, Edward Haskell; her children, Melinda Boyll, Pamela Jones and her husband Dale, all of Terre Haute, Anthony Boyll and his wife Penny of Mooresville, Dale Boyll, and Danna Dykes and her husband Jeff, all of Brazil; six stepchildren, Desima Haskell and her fiancé Lyle VanLannen Jr., Tammy Wilson and her husband John, Lisa Edwards, Lea Hamblen and her husband David, all of Terre Haute, Dexta Haskell and his wife Rhonda, and Desco J. Haskell and his wife Jacqulyn, all of Florida; a sister, Beverly Swafford and her husband Birch of Tennessee; two sisters-in-law, Juanita Lindsay of Kentucky and Geraldine Lindsay of Terre Haute; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Forrest Lindsay Jr. and Robert Lindsay; a sister, Norma Decker; and a grandson, Keith Allen Kelly.
She was a member of the Eagles Lodge 291 Ladies Auxiliary, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 972 Ladies Auxiliary, LaFemmes V-21, American Legion Post 328 Ladies Auxiliary, West Terre Haute Young Mens Club Ladies Auxiliary, and Amvets Post 2 Ladies Auxiliary.
