  The Post-Standard (Syracuse, NY) June 27, 2006 Robert "Bob" Haskell, 69, died June 19, 2006, at his home in New Bern, NC, where he and his wife of 40 years, Joan, lived six years after his retirement. Bob was a science teacher in New Jersey before retiring. He was a graduate of Syracuse Central High School and Colgate University where Bob participated in many sports. He also enjoyed boating, diving and swimming. Surviving besides his wife are his mother, Gen Haskell of Loretto, Syracuse; a sister, Pat Hoff of DeWitt; a nephew, Steve Hoff; a niece, Karen Persse; two great-nephews and three great-nieces.
