  The Post-Standard, (Syracuse, NY) July 1, 2014 Waldo F. "Wally" Haskell Jr., 70, of Fulton, passed away peacefully on Saturday. He was raised in Fayetteville and was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church. He attended the Manlius Military Academy and graduated from Fayetteville-Manlius High School. He served in the US Navy. Wally was the owner and president of Golden Sun Bus Service in Fulton and Haskell's Hess Mart in Fayetteville. He was a member of the Hiram Masonic Lodge in Fulton and the Media and Tigris Shrine Temple. He sponsored several children for treatment at the Shriner's Hospital. He enjoyed deep sea fishing. He was proud to participate and be a sponsor of the Leon Shell Annual Memorial Sail Fish Tournament which benefited the middle and lower Keys Hospice. He and his late wife, Penny, built their paradise in the Florida Keys and developed many life long friends. In more recent years he resided in The Villages and Fulton. He was best known for his wit, sense of humor and generosity to others, especially children. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren and would do anything for them. He was predeceased by his beautiful, loving wife of 39 years, Penny in 2007; and his parents, Waldo F. Sr. and Mabel Wisner Haskell. He is survived by his daughters, Kimberley L. Haskell and Pamela J. Kinane; son-in-law, Patrick J. Kinane; and five incredible grandchildren who were the loves of his life, Alex, Anna, Ryan, Laura and Andrew.
