Joyce Haskell Snow, 72 of Payson, passed away September 6,2006 at home surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was born on March 12, 1934 in Salem, Utah, the oldest daughter of LeRoy and Beulah Pierce Haskell.
Joyce was raised in Haskellville, Utah (now Elkridge). She was no stranger to hard work. Being raised on a farm she helped in the family tomato patch along with any other duties on her dad's farm that were needed. She worked through hard times, many times working two jobs, to raise her four children by herself, never thinking of herself before her children.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She truly exemplified the savior in her love for others. Mom loved the Lord and taught honesty and charity to her children. Joyce graduated from Hollywood Beauty School & was a hairdresser for over 40 years. She touched many lives while doing the job she loved so much.
She married Robert Snow July 4, 1981 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They enjoyed many happy years together raising cattle, growing a beautiful garden. She was loved by so many and will be greatly missed. She will be remembered for her strength, love, devotion and kindness to all.
She is survived by: her loving and devoted husband, Robert Snow of Payson / Nephi; her daughters, Valorie ( Mike) Curtis & Sharon Andrews of Provo; brother, Eldon ( Leona ) Haskell of Springville; her sisters, Neva (Jim) Peterson of Santaquin; Lois (Lowell ) Hadlock of Orem; 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and many loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, LeRoy & Beulah Haskell; son, Dennis Peterson; a daughter, Julie Palmer; a grandchild and a great-grandchild.
