  The Sun (Lowell, MA) June 26, 2002 Nashua, formerly of Wilmington; 80 NASHUA Roger E. Vose Sr., 80, of Nashua, a former Wilmington resident and a World War II veteran, died Sunday, June 23, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Nashua. He was the husband of Gladys (Sullivan) Vose. He was born in Bar Harbor, Maine, son of Ethel H. Vose and Everett A. Davis, both of Rockland, Maine. Mr. Vose served in the Navy during World War II as a seaman 1st classstationed aboard the CV 17 Bunker Hill. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Vose was a member of Pipefitters Local No. 132 in Lowell for 55 years. He lived in Wilmington for 10 years before moving to Nashua, and held memberships in the Tewksbury-Wilmington Lodge of Elks No. 2070 and the Amherst Country Club in New Hampshire. Besides his wife and parents, survivors include a son, Roger E. Vose Jr. of Nashua; as well as three grandchildren and two great-grandchildre He was also the father of the late Edward P.
