Lon Beach, Calif. – Former Thompson Falls resident Linda Haskell Wollaston, 57, died Sept. 14, 1999, at Long Beach, Calif., following a lingering illness.
Linda was born Feb. 9, 1942 at Glendive, Mont., to Ken and Sue Haskell. She was raised in Montana, graduating from Thompson Falls High School in 1960, and from the College of Great falls in 1964.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ken Haskell, in 1983. And her mother, Sue Haskell in 1998, at Eureka.
She is survived by Cortney Wollaston, Marina Del Rey, Calif., and Jme (pronounced “Jamie”) Hauptli, Phoenix, Ariz.; a sister, Donna Peter, Eureka, Mont.; a brother, Al Haskell, Powell Butte, Ore.; two nieces, Julie Haskell, Phoenix, and Jeanne Haskell, Carmichael, Calif.; three nephews, Coleman Smith, Eureka; David Smith, in Texas; and Robert Smith, Merced, Calif.; cousins, Maryanne Lots and Peggy Gustine, both of Dillon and Tina Haskell, Three Forks, Mont.; and current companion, Rob Spargur, Torrance, calif. Other family members include Bo, Mason, Jeremy, Rue and Jeff Wollaston.
