Ronald Ernest "Pops" Haskell, 61, a resident Of Buzzards Bay, died Monday at Tobey Hospital In Wareham.
He was the husband Of Nina H. Haskell Of Buzzards Bay.
Born In Boston, Mr. Haskell was raised In Bourne, where he also attended school.
He graduated from Bourne High School In 1959. After graduation, he worked for the U.S. Postal Service, then was a millwright with Local 1121 out Of Boston. He worked for the town Of Bourne Tree Department And was recently a commercial fisherman And shellfisherman. He was a lifelong resident Of Bourne. An avid archaeologist, he was a member Of the Bourne United Methodist Church.
Besides his wife, survivors include three sons, Edward Haskell, Mark Haskell And Scott Haskell, all Of Buzzards Bay; a sister, Linda Carpenter Of Shrewsbury; a brother, Peter Haskell Of Dedham; five grandchildren; And several nieces And nephews.
He was also the father Of the late Richard Haskell.
