  William is on the tax list in 1777 for two polls, and in 1779 his widow Katherine is charged for two polls. In 1779 also, his widow Katherine executed a mortgage on her late husband's farm in Gorham and settled his estate. Reference History of Gorham, Me. By Hugh D.
