Service for Benjamin A. Haskell, 70, will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Bethany Lutheran Church in Osburn, Idaho. Burial will be at the Osburn Cemetery.
Mr. Haskell, who was born in Colorado, died Friday. He graduated from North Colorado University and served with the Army.
Mr. Haskell married Lola Berry in 1954 and moved to the Osburn area in 1963. He was a shop teacher at Wallace High School for 31 years, retiring in 1992. He later moved to Rathdrum. He had been a member of the Osburn Lions Club and the Wallace Eagles Lodge and served as an elder at the Osburn Bethany Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife of more than 45 years; three daughters, Janet Smith of Coeur d'Alene, Linda DiRaimo of Moscow, Idaho, and Marshella Lesterberg of Rathdrum; three brothers, Leon and Stanley Haskell, both of Rye, Colo., and Vance Haskell of New Plymouth, Idaho; two sisters, Eileen Herrick of Sterling, Colo., and Alta Dashofsky of Boise; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
