William Rowlett Satchwill, 53, who owned and operated a garage in Aberdeen, died suddenly of a heart attack at his home on December 28. After Mr. Satchwill was stricken the Rising Sun rescue squad was called and administered oxygen, but life was extinct.
Mr. Satchwill was one of Aberdeen's most prominent citizens. A member of the Aberdeen Methodist church, he had been active in its work and had served as a steward and trustee.
He also held membership in the Masonic and Eastern Star lodges at Rising Sun and had held various offices in the organization.
A native of Ghent, Ky., the son of William and Effie Satchwill, he had resided in Indiana since childhood.
He graduated from Vevay high school and on February 22, 1930 was married to Miss Zella Lauderbaugh.
With his wife he is survived by three children, Robert A. of Kokomo, David L. of Cincinnati, and Charles Nelson, at home. He also leaves his mother and a sister, Miss Mayme Satchwill, both of Aberdeen, and four grandchildren.
