WILMINGTON Florence E. (Haskell) Jordan, age 89, a lifelong resident of Wilmington, passed away Thursday, February 19, 2009, at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington.
She was the beloved wife of Charles F. Jordan, who died May 2, 1969.
Born in Wilmington on November 1, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Edward M. and Lena M. (Carter) Haskell.
She attended Wilmington schools and graduated from Wilmington High School. Florence dedicated her life to caring for her children, and late husband. According to her family, she enjoyed watching soap operas, and traveling with her late husband.
She is survived by her children, David E. Jordan and Donna M. McInnis and her husband, John Burdette, all of Wilmington; four grandchildren, Tracy LaCombe and her husband, Jason of Amherst, NH, Diane Souza and her husband, David of Woburn, Lori McInnis and her fiancé, Robert Sorbi of Dracut, and John McInnis and his wife, Colleen of Lowell; six great-grandchildren, Shawn and Jodeci Souza of Woburn, Bryan McInnis of Wilmington, Ashli McInnis of Dracut, Samantha and Cassidy LaCombe of Amherst, NH.
