  Job of Rochester, a private, served with Captain Clap's company of Colonel T. Cotton's regiment. Muster roll dated 1 August 1773. Enlisted 2 May 1773, service 3 months 6 days. Job, a private, served with Captain B. Dillingham's company. He enlisted 16 April 1776, service 7 months and 12 days, company stationed at Dartmouth for defense of seacoast. Job, a corporal, served with Captain N. Hammond's company, 4th Plymouth County regiment commanded by Lieutenant Colonel White. He enlisted 30 July 1780 and was discharged 3 August 1780. Service for 9 days at Rhode Island on an alarm; Roll dated Rochester. Job, of Rochester, a private, served in Captain Earl Clap's company, Colonel Theophilus Cotton's regiment; company return dated October 7, 1775. He also served as a corporal in Captain Samuel Brigg's company, Colonel Theophilus Cotton's regiment, General Palmor’s brigade. He served 32 days on a secret expedition to Tiverton Rhode Island September 29, 1777. Also, same company and regiment; order dated Rochester, May 2, 1778, signed by said Haskell and others for bounty for service at Rhode Island, payable to Lieutenant Solomon Young. Also, Captain Nathaniel Hammond's company, 4th Plymouth County regiment, commanded by Lieutenant Colonel White; Enlisted July 30, 1780, discharged August 8, 1780, service 9 days at Rhode Island on an alarm. Enlisted 1776, Captain Dillingham's regiment, stationed at Dartmouth, served 7 months, 12 days. _____ Plymouth County registry, Book 157, Page 28 Received March 21st 1826 and recorded Know all men by these present that I Hunnewell Haskell & Betsey Freeman & Amelia Haskell & Hunnewell & Amelia Haskell for the heirs of Roxalana Dean & Nabby Lamson & Evelina Freeman & Lucy Freeman & Job Freeman all of Craig township, County of Switzerland, State of Indiana, for the consideration of fifty Dollars paid to us in hand by Thomas Shaw of Rochester in the County of Plymouth, State of Massachusetts, do bargain and sell to him, his heirs or assignees forever, a certain lot of lands & marsh in Mattapoisett neck formerly owned by Job Haskell and his wife Elizabeth., the upland contains about ten acres, the marsh about fifteen rods Easterly from the Oldfield lot which was formerly called the marsh containing about one and one half acres be it more or less, the above mentioned lands we oblige ourselves to warrant and defend all our rights and titles to the aforesaid Thomas Shaw, his heirs, or assignee forever.
