BANGOR - Arlene H. Haskell, 88, died April 8, 2010, at an Orono health care center. She was born May 15, 1921, in Hermon, daughter of Willard and Nettie (Demeritt) Gordon. Arlene was a former member of the Bangor Business Women's Club and a past noble grand of Rebekah's Lodge of Hermon. She was also an active member of the PTA and a 4-H leader.
Surviving are three children, Wayne D. Haskell and his significant other, Linda Cowan, of Garland, BJ Kendall and her husband, Frank, of Washington state and Robert C. Haskell and his wife, Tammy, of Bangor; five grandchildren, Lynne Dean, Scott Haskell, Rhonda Huddleston and her husband, Robert, Tracy Kendall and her husband, James Miller, and Conor Haskell; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Bernice Smith of Belfast; and a sister-in-law, Virginia Gordon of Hermon.
She was predeceased by her husband, Lewis A. Haskell; and two brothers, Clyde Gordon and Beverly Gordon.
