  The Pantagraph (Bloomington, IL) December 15, 2009 LeROY - Mary Lou Dean, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, died Saturday (Dec. 12, 2009) at her home in LeRoy at age 82. Her wish to spend Christmas in heaven with Dad was granted by our Heavenly Father. Mary Lou Frederick Dean was born in Bloomington, on July 7, 1927, daughter of Charles and Clara Million Frederick. She married Dale E. Dean on April 4, 1948, and is survived by their children: Steve, Stuart (Linda), Sue (Bryce) Poppe, Sally (Michael) Jones and Sara (Mark) Doman. She is also survived by her sister, Charlotte Frederick, and brother, W.C. "Fritz" Frederick; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Wanda Dean; nieces; nephews; many friends; and her two special four-legged friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and Dale.
