  TheTimesNews.com April 18, 2012 BURLINGTON - Mr. Calvin Eugene Tow, age 64, of Sweetbay Circle, died Sunday, April 15, 2012, at his home after several months of failing health. Born in Laurens, S.C., he was the son of the late Loyd Calvin Tow and the late Catherine Ward. Tow and was married for more than 33 years to Mrs. Rebecca Yates Tow, who survives. Calvin was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the U.S. Air Force and also the U.S. Navy. He retired from AT&T with more than 35 years of service and was a member of Beacon Baptist Church. Mr. Tow is survived by his wife of the home; a daughter, Angela King of Concord, N.C.; a son, Matthew Tow and his wife, Amy, of Winston-Salem; six grandchildren; and a sister, Janet Webb and her husband, Sam, of Vass, N.C. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Larry G. Tow.
