  Sweeny's Funeral Home and Crematorium LEBLANC, Lillian “Maude” – of New Beginnings in Yarmouth, passed away on June 10, 2012, in her 100th year. Born in Summerville, Yarmouth Co., she was the last surviving child of the late Nelson and Lillian Maude (Haskell) Spates. Mother enjoyed many years of buying and selling antiques at her shop on the Grove Road. She worked some years at McKinley’s Book Store, in the gift shop at Yarmouth Regional Hospital, the blood clinic and also delivered Meals on Wheels around town. She is survived by son, Bill (Lorraine), Toronto, Ont.; daughter, Mae Cleveland (the late Gerald), Yarmouth; eight grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and many great great-grandchildren; niece, Maude (Spates) LeBlanc of Arcadia, who was a great friend and help to Mum in her later year She was predeceased by husband, William “Bill” LeBlanc; brothers, Vernall, Lewis and Rexford; sisters, Bessie and Minnie. Interment will follow in Yarmouth Mountain Cemetery.
