AKRON, N.Y.— Jean M. (MacKenzie) Palmer, 81, formerly of Lynn, died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2005, at Brothers of Mercy Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Clarence, New York.
She was the wife of the late John T. Palmer with whom she shared 30 years of marriage.
Born in Lynn, the daughter of the late Alfred O. and Edna (MacGray) MacKenzie, she was a graduate of Lynn English High School and a former member of the East Baptist Church.
She was employed by the Lynn Public Library for 32 years, the last of which were as secretary to the Head Librarian.
She and her husband were active in the Akron Historical Society.
She leaves three nieces, Linda Richard of Nahant, Nancy Comeau of Lynn and Carol
Rogerson of Reading and several grandnieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Alfred D. MacKenzie.
