THOMAS ARTHUR "TOM" GLAZIER , age 64, of Houston, passed away Wednesday morning, the 10th of January 2007.
At the time of his passing, Mr. Glazier was serving as President and Chief Executive Officer of Glazier Foods Company. Mr. Glazier, a native Houstonian, was born on the 9th of June 1942 to Charles R. "Bob" Glazier (founder of Glazier Foods Company in 1936) and Clara Schrick Glazier, who both preceded him in death.
Mr. Glazier was devoted to serving his community and volunteered for numerous organizations, including the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, Future Farmers of America, Harris County Fair, 4H, and various scholarship and service programs.
Mr. Glazier is survived by his children: Charles Robert Glazier II, Laura Margaret Glazier Williams, Thomas Arthur Glazier, Jr., William Arthur Glazier, Julie Kathleen Glazier, and their respective spouses. He was also blessed with ten grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters: Ann Glazier McStravick and her husband, Peter, and Judy Glazier Spring and her husband, Jim. Mr. Glazier was especially fond of his special relationship with Jessica and Stacey West.
