Barbara Harwood Haskell, 91, died on Wednesday March 11, 2009, at Marlborough Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Edwin V. Haskell of Bolton.
She is survived by three children, Cynthia Rubant and her husband Richard of Canton, GA, formerly of Framingham; Judith Kress and her husband George of Lakewood, CO and William Haskell and his wife Judy of Sterling, MA; five grand children, six great grand children and one step great grandson; sister Annalee Collins and her husband Harvey of West Brookfield. She was preceded in death by her brother, Harold Harwood Jr., late of Bolton.
She was born June 1, 1917, in Clinton. She was the daughter of the late Harold and Ina (Smith) Harwood. Graduated from Clinton High School and attended Ollis Hair Dressing School in Worcester. She owned and operated a beauty shop in Clinton and also was a retired Manager of Emerson School Lunch in Bolton. She was a member of the Federated Church in Bolton. Her interests were gardening, cooking, sewing, quilting, square dancing and traveling.
Burial will be at the South Cemetery in Bolton.
