Mary Haskell Fowle, age 91, of Burlington, MA, formerly of Nashua, NH and Winchester, MA, passed away at home at Sunrise Assisted Living in Burlington, lovingly surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Arthur A. Fowle.
Born in Winchester, Mary was the daughter of the late Albert A. and Margaret Leslie (Weatherston) Haskell.
Mrs. Fowle was educated in Winchester and furthered her education at the Katherine Gibbs School in Boston. Mrs. Fowle worked as a secretary in the Math Department at MIT for several years where she met her husband. She raised 6 children in Winchester and later served as the executive director and chairman of the Winchester chapter of the American Red Cross. In semi-retirement in Brewster, MA, she managed the day-to-day operations for her husband's consulting business. Mary and Arthur enjoyed traveling and were able to visit many countries around the world.
Mrs. Fowle is survived by her children and their spouses: Arthur and Catherine Fowle of Brewster, MA, Polly and Kirk Crisman of Nashua, NH, William and Gail Fowle of Pembroke, MA, Albert Fowle and Shelli Sandrew of Westborough, MA, Elizabeth and David Rome of Los Altos Hills, CA and Lucy and Costas Manousakis of Reading, MA. She was also the sister of the late Albert Haskell, and is further survived by 12 grandchildren, several nieces and a nephew, a sister-in-law, Joan Miles of Orange Park, Florida, and a brother-in-law, Donald Fowle, of New York City.
