SUNCOOK – Roger L. Weed died on Sunday, July 27, 2014. He was born March 10, 1949 in Stonington, ME. He was the son of Alton and Helen Marshall Weed.
He graduated from Stonington High School in 1967. He worked in the Deer Isle quarry in Maine and later moved to Concord, N.H. where he worked at Swenson Granite and began to raise his family.
Roger was a great man with a sharp wit and a great sense of humor. He was kind, loving and put others needs ahead of his own.
He will be missed by his wife Lora Weed, his son Davis Weed and wife Amanda Drewniak Weed and their two sons Jonas and Milo Weed, Shellie Hamel and her three sons, Michael Hamel, Harmonie Hamel and her three children.
He is survived by four brothers: Emery and Leroy Weed of Stonington, Maine, Norman Weed of Gorham, Maine and Raymond Weed of Winslow, Maine. He is also survived by four sisters: Regina Parsons of York, Maine, Gertrude Cutchin of Eagle, Idaho, Margaret Burns of Ellsworth Maine and Barbara Eason of Kentland, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his brother Clayton Weed.
