Born July 17, 1943 in Napoleon, Oh., the son of William H. and Ruth (Howell) Travis. Norman was a self-employed computer programmer. He was a former member of St. Paul United Methodist Church of Napoleon and served in the Navy. He was a graduate of Napoleon High School and attended The Ohio State University. Surviving is one son, Marc Travis, Columbus, Oh.; one daughter, Sherideth Rae (Jim) Gilley, Columbus, Oh.; his mother, Ruth Travis, Napoleon, Oh.; one brother, Dennis Travis, Pittsburgh, Pa.
