  Syracuse Post Standard September 17, 2016 Maureen M. Stormes died Friday at Francis House, surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 4, 1948, in Syracuse, the daughter of the late Lloyd and Catherine Smith. Maureen had a smile that would light up the room and a laugh that would warm your heart. Her love for children and new babies in the family was always evident. She was an animal lover all of her life and had a special animal of her own-her cat Cassie. Maureen is pre-deceased by her husband, Willard; and six siblings, Lloyd, Donald, Frederick, Francis, Collin, and Shirley. She is survived by sisters, Chickie Procopio, Cathy Cayen, and Suzanne Lee; brothers, George, Teddy, Thomas, and James Smith; and many nieces and nephews, all of Syracuse.
