  Stillinger Family Funeral Home Mary F. Mathes, 93, a resident of Greenfield, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2009 at the Golden Living Center, Brandywine. She was born May 17, 1915 in Marion County, Indiana and was the daughter of the late Albert and Inez (Fritzler) Barlow. Mary was a homemaker and a member of Curry’s Chapel United Methodist Church. She is survived by sons, Jack C. (Carol) of Greenfield and Richard (Maureen) Mathes of New Palestine; daughter, Carol Thompson; 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Mathes; son, Stephen Mathes; sister’s, Mable Huffman and Katherine Hopper; brother, Henry Albert Barlow.
