  Graham-Dunn Funeral Home Joseph Warren Brown, age 85 and a native of Carroll County, passed away Monday, March 7th, at the Bedford Healthcare Center in Bedford. Born May 19, 1925, he was the son of the late Walter and Cordia Sutter Brown. Joseph was a Veteran having served his country in the United States Army and was also an apprentice Seaman with the United States Navy. Joseph later became an owner/operator in the trucking business and also enjoyed fishing, westerns, and NASCAR races. He married his wife Hilda Meadows, on April 22, 1949, she survives. He is also survived by two sons: Terry Lee Brown (Pat) of New Castle, Dana Joe Brown of Bedford; one daughter: Vickie Karen Gathier (Robert) of Bedford; and one brother, Eslie E. Brown (Lucille) of New Mexico. Three grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive.
