Mrs. Carma Nencetti, age 83, of Utica, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2005, in the St. Luke's Home after a brief illness. She was born on November 2, 1921 in Frankfort, NY, a daughter of the late Cesar and Donata Caivana Nencetti.
She was educated in Frankfort schools and was the Valedictorian of her Class of 1939. She also attended SUNY Potsdam. She was married to William D. Rockwell in 1961 in the Town of Ohio, a blessed union of 44 years. Carma was employed by the General Electric Co. for many years, until her retirement.
Surviving are her beloved husband, Bill; one son and daughter-in-law, James R. and Elizabeth Piazza of Scotia, NY; one daughter, Regina P. Winkler and Michael Riscica of New Hartford; her beloved grandchildren, James R. and Paula Piazza, Kelly Lynn and David Shimkus, Nicholas A. Piazza, Patrick J. Winkler and Michael J. Winkler; her two great-granddaughters, Ava Elisabeth and Alayna Grace Shimkus; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her beloved son, William D. Rockwell II; one sister, Marie Fabrizzi; six brothers, Thomas, Joseph, Francis, William, Albert, and Carl Nencetti.
