Sarah Elizabeth Dilla, 28, of Browning Dr., East Hampton, died unexpectedly Friday (March 29, 2002) in East Hampton from injuries sustained in a automobile accident. She was born in Middletown, December 29, 1973, and had resided in East Hampton for nine years. She was a graduate of Stratford High School, Goose Creek, SC, and presently was the office manager for JC Products, Higganum. Sarah was a cherished mother, daughter, fiancee, sister, granddaughter, niece and cousin. She had a zest for life and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her father and stepmother, Douglas and Joanne Dilla of Colchester; her mother and stepfather, Kerry and Craig Chambers of Ladson, SC; her daughter, Samantha Veazie; her fiance, Ken Veazie and his son, David of East Hampton ; two half-sisters, Nicole and Marissa Dilla of Colchester; two step-sisters, Terry Raymond and Michelle Chambers; a brother, Ryan M. Dilla of Sommerville, SC; her paternal grandparents, Patricia and John Shortt of Moodus; her maternal grandmother, Jean McShea of Cobalt; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her grandfather, John E. McShea.
