  Providence Journal (RI) March 5, 2000 PATRICIA L. FLECK-HICKS, 63, of Earl Avenue, died Thursday at Philip Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence. She was the wife of the late George F. Hicks. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Lloyd and Elsie (Shepard) Shippee, she lived in Riverside for 24 years. She leaves two daughters, Paula M. Fleck of Warren and Pamela E. Durand of Riverside; two sons, Peter L. Fleck of Warwick and Paul F. Fleck Jr. of Providence; a sister, Gloria Durbano of East Providence; three brothers, Linwood Shippee of Providence, Roger Shippee of Warwick and Gerald Shippee of El Paso, Texas; and 12 grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Patrick W. and Phillip A. Fleck, and sister of the late Calvin and Ronald Shippee, and Carolyn DiCenzo.
