She is survived by her husband of 61 years, and the love of her life Normand R. Lavigne. She was born in Grafton, Massachusetts, daughter of the late Arthur and Dorila (Cofsky) Rivernider. She is survived by her son, Gary D. Lavigne and his wife, Carol of South Windsor, Connecticut; her son, Paul R. Lavigne of Danielson, Connecticut; her daughter, Gail M. Trudeau and her husband, Guy E. Trudeau, of Brooklyn, Connecticut; her daughter Ann D. LaRoche and her husband, Thomas LaRoche of Boylston, Massachusetts; her daughter Joan C. Barlow (wife of Dr. Dennis Barlow, recently deceased) of Eastford, Connecticut; her daughter Susan C. Lavigne of Rome, Georgia; her sister, Ruth Lewcon of Uxbridge, Massachusetts; her sister, Evelyn Daley of Summerfield, Florida; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother, Wallace Rivernider and her sister, Shirley Rivernider.
