St. REGIS FALLS -- Mr. Kenneth H. LaFrance, 80, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home with the love, support, and care of his family and Hospice.
Kenny was born in Malone on Sept. 13, 1933, to the late Joseph and Mildred LaFrance. He was raised and educated locally. In 1953 he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, proudly serving his country with honor and dignity. In 1956 he was honorably discharged into the inactive reserve.

For many years Kenny worked at Reynolds Metals in Massena, retiring in 1995. He also was the longtime caretaker of St. Ann's Cemetery in St. Regis Falls, always making sure tasks were done precisely and up to par.
Kenny was a humble man and took pride in everything he did. As a loving grandfather, he shared a special relationship with each of his grandchildren, cherishing time spent, no matter what the occasion.
He was an avid fisherman and a member of the Marine Corps League in Massena and the St. Regis Falls American Legion, and a parishioner of St. Ann's Church in St. Regis Falls.
