  Reno Gazette-Journal February 23, 2012 Frederick Arthur Haskell January 16, 1933 February 18, 2012 Frederick (Fritz, Fred) Arthur Haskell peacefully passed on Saturday, February 28, 2012, at his home in Reno, Nevada, after a long illness. Fred was born on January 16, 1933, at Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, to Samuel and Mary (Stevens) Haskell. On March 13, 1965, Frederick married his long-time love, LaVerne Blackmar in Virginia City, Nevada. Together they had three children, daughters, Starla Coverston, Sherdeen (Carl) Collins, son, Randy (Juanita) Smith, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Fred was preceded in death by his sister and parents. A graveside service will be held for Fred on Saturday, February 25, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. at Sierra Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Lemmon Valley, NV.
