  Peoria Journal Star July 30, 2014 BELLEVUE - Glenda M. Shellenberger, 80, of Bellevue, Ill., passed away at 11:17 p.m. Monday, July 28, 2014, at her residence, surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She was born on Sept. 29, 1933, in Peoria, Ill., to Glen and Mary (Maston) Carpenter. Glenda married Harry Shellenberger on March 22, 1969, in Peoria, Ill. He preceded her in death, along with her parents, three sons, two brothers, three sisters and two nephews. Surviving are five daughters, Sherry (Tim) Smith of Marquette Heights, Sharon (Ralph) Hill of Bartonville, Carolyn (Nick Fink) Trainor of Peoria, Kim Brown of East Peoria and Jill (Jeff Thomas) Webb of Washington; three stepdaughters, Lisa Carter, Donna Heffron and Debbie Boehle, all of Indiana; three sons, Stephen Trainor, and fiance, Shelly of West Peoria, Jim (Lisa) Trainor of Bellevue and Donald (Amanda) Trainor of Peoria; 41 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Shirley Korth of Yates City. Glenda loved to dance, crochet, spend time with family and scratch her bingo tickets. She was a huge Cubs fan.
