Patricia Ann Dean-Ruiz lovingly known as Tricia, was granted her angel wings on March 10, 2017 passing peacefully at the young age of 48 at her home in Boerne, Texas after a long brave battle with cancer. Her final days were spent surrounded by her loving family and friends. Our hearts are broken over losing this wonderful woman.
Tricia was born July 6, 1968 in San Antonio, TX to Dr. William Evans Dean III (deceased) and Marilyn Warden Tanner. She went to Northside Schools graduating from Holmes High School class of 1986 and went on to graduate with an accounting degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She was a partner for Tanner & Dean-Ruiz Accounting and was so loved not only by her family, but her friends, clients and anyone who met her. Her wonderful attitude, a smile that filled a room, love of family and friends and her zest for life made people love her and never forget her.
Tricia married her High School sweetheart and love of her life, Jason Ruiz on May 27, 1989 and was the proud mother to Maegan Olguin (Roland) and Madison Ruiz and the proud "Mimi" to her adored grandchildren, Jackson and Olivia Olguin. In addition to her husband Jason, daughters and grandchildren; Tricia is survived by her loving mother Marilyn Warden Tanner, step-father David L. Tanner, sister Jennifer Saathoff McHatton (Robert), son-in-law Roland Olguin, Uncle Robert Dean (Lynn), Uncle John Warden (Linda), Uncle Leo Warden (Rita), Sister-in-law Shalon Gomez (Gabe), niece Peyton Willis, nephews Evan Willis, Aidan and Ethan Garcia, numerous cousins and long- time loyal friends who will forever miss this beautiful woman.
