  The Post-Star (Glens Falls, NY) May 30, 2006 QUEENSBURY * Faith M. (Rowley) Van Orman, 84, of Queensbury, passed away Monday, May 29, 2006, at Glens Falls Hospital. Born Aug. 23, 1921, in Bells Falls, Vt., she was the daughter of the late Harry and Minnie (Beals) Rowley. Faith was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, Glens Falls. She graduated from Glens Falls High School, Class of 1939. For 25 years she was a secretary for the Queensbury School District. Faith was past district deputy of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed traveling, playing the piano, and made many great memories traveling with her husband and the times spent with her many friends. Her friends will miss her dearly. She and her husband were always together and always on the go, they loved eating and visiting at area restaurants. Besides her parents, her son, Roger Van Orman and two brothers, Ralph and Elmer Rowley, predeceased her. Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Halsey Van Orman, whom she married Dec 2, 1943 in Macon, Ga.; her grandson, Michael Patrick Van Orman of Virginia and two nephews, Philip Rowley of Washington and David Wiles of Queensbury.
