Our stunning Ruth Gentry Pecharich, 93, passed away peacefully surrounded by family, love and light at home on May 6, 2017 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Ruth came into and left this world with dignity; she wouldn't have it any other way. Ruth was born in Scofield, Utah on May 30, 1923, born to Harold and Melinda Gentry.
Ruth married the one and only love of her life, Tony Pecharich. Together, they had two beautiful and loving daughters, Lori and Tami.
Ruth was elegant, classy, tenacious, feisty, had movie-star good looks, and at times, cursed like a sailor-much to her grandchildren's delight and laughter. Ruth was always a character and maintained a youthful, mischievous sense of humor and outlook on life until the very end. Ruth was a caregiver and gave selflessly to all during the entirety of her life. She was the matriarch of the family.
Ruth is survived by: daughters Lori (John) Bushman and Tamara (Kraig) Raines; grandchildren Cody (Amber) McCallister, JT (Trina) Bushman, Bronson and Gentry Bradshaw and Autumn Bushman; great grandchildren Abby (Vince) and Hope McCallister, Jayden and Cole Bushman; and many beloved family members and friends.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Tony Pecharich; brothers, sister, grandson and great grandson.
