Thomas Clark Tuckett, 60, of Fallon, Nevada, and Spanish Fork, Utah, beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother passed away October 15, 2006 after a brief but courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Tom was born August 9, 1946 in Spanish Fork, Utah to Thomas Earl and June Clayson Tuckett. He was raised in Lake Shore, Utah and attended Lake Shore and Spanish Fork area schools. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and Air Force Reserve and was stationed in Thailand during the Viet Nam War. At the time of his death, he was employed by The Boeing Company.
Tom married Diane Gull, his high school sweetheart, on August 15, 1968. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. They are the parents of six children. Tom was an active and faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in many church callings including Bishop of the Glendale Arizona Sunburst Ward and as a High Counselor in the Fallon Nevada Stake. He and Diane also served as Temple Workers in the Reno Nevada Temple and have been exemplary and faithful Home Teachers. Tom enjoyed traveling and especially loved trips to Disneyland with his family.
Tom is survived by his wife Diane, and their children, Jason (Jenny), and Jared (Terumi) of San Angelo, Texas; Ryan (Gina) of Maricopa, Arizona; Joseph (Shannon) of Perris, California; Evan (Angela) of Newport News, Virginia; and Lynsey (James) King of Provo, Utah. He is also survived by his mother, June Clayson Tuckett of Orem, Utah; a brother, Marvin (Jane) of Payson, Utah; and sisters, Jana Rae Gardner of Spanish Fork, Utah; and Shelley (Paul) Stoddard of Orem, Utah. Tom is also survived by thirteen grandchildren: Jasmine, Jade, Tyler, Erika, Kiana, Dylan, Kayla, Kyle, Gage, Kai, Ayden, Mason, and Logan.
