Glenda Tanner, age 62, passed from this life Aept. 15, 2002 at her home in Pleasant Grove surrounded by her family. She battled a lingering illness and is now at peace. She was born in Payson, Jan. 10, 1940 to Floyd H. amd L. Fern Adams. She was the oldest of 10 children.
Glenda was raised and educated in Pleasant Grove where she was a cheerleader and was in the Strawberry Days royalty.
She married Ken Eugene Tanner, Oct. 29, 1958 and they were later sealed in the Provo temple.
Glenda was employed at Bank of American Fork where she met a lot of people who also became her friends. In her earlier years, she was employed at Ream's in American Fork where all grew to love her there.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where sh held callings in primary, young womens, and relief society influencing the lives of manby peoplw.
Glenda enjoyed her sweetheart and family, these being the most important things in her life. She also enjoyed making porcelain dolls and traveling with her mom and sisters.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Ken; 4 daughters and 1 son, Geanie (Lynn) Matthews, KayLyn (Grant) Stoddard, Teresa Tanner, David (Stephanie) Tanner, Michele (Matt Evans; 12 grandchildren; her mother, 4 sisters and 4 brothers.
She was preceded in death by 1 son, Frank, her father and 1 brother, Grant Adams.
