A cowboy has finished the ride of his life and has now traded in his boots for his wings. John Albert Adams passed away on May 1, 2017, due to cancer.
He was born in Payson, Utah, on September 10, 1948, to Floyd Henry Adams and Leona Fern Gasser Adams. John was the fifth of ten children. After Floyd passed away, John became a father figure to several of his siblings. He graduated from Pleasant Grove High School and then joined the United States Navy where he met the love of his life. He married Rosemary Lee Oslin on August 16, 1969. They have been married for 48 fabulous years. John's greatest masterpiece has always been his family. His whole life has been centered around his wife and the legacy they created. He is an amazing father to three children.
He was an outdoor enthusiast and loved hunting, horseback riding, fishing, camping, and telling stories. John was a master at mechanics; if it needed fixing he could do it. He received his Associates in Mechanics from UVCC and co-owned A&M Auto.
John is survived by his wife, Rose; son, Kevin (Robbie) Adams; daughter, Kelly (Andy) Crosby; son, Troy (Kim) Adams; 15 grandkids; 14 great-grandkids; siblings: Leona, Carolyn, Barbara, Pauline, Dennis, Myron, and Craig.
He is preceded in death by parents, Floyd and Fern; sister, Glenda; brother, Grant; and two grandsons, Nathan and Colby.
