  Emery County Progress (Castle Dale, UT) June 27, 2006 CLAWSON- Clay R. Gasser, age 50, passed away peacefully June 6, 2006, while surrounded by his loving family after a long battle with cancer. He was born June 13, 1955 in American Fork to Ralph and Virginia Lundel Gasser. Married the love of his life Christy Jean Riley, June 30, 1979 in Ferron. Active member of the LDS Church. He was a longtime employee of Consol Emery Mine Local # 1261. Gozzo loved spending time with his family whether it was camping, fishing, hunting, tying flies, planting his garden, or just being together. Survived by his beautiful wife, Christy Jean Gasser; four wonderful children, Zebadiah T. Gasser, Sarah (Michael K.) Allred, Christia V. Gasser, Zacariah C. Gasser; and his beautiful granddaughter, Brylei Jean Allred. The love for his family will never be forgotten. He will be deeply missed and always remembered by his family and friends. We will love you forever Gozzo. Preceded in death by his father, Ralph Gasser; and father-in-law, Lloyd George Riley.
