- The Emery County Progress
December 1, 2009.
Our loving husband, son, dad, brother, grandson, and friend, Zebadiah T. Gasser, age 25, passed away unexpectedly on Nov. 25, 2009.
He was born August 11, 1984 in Price to Clay R. and Christy Jean Riley Gasser.
Zeb just recently married Jasmyn Harrell on November 21, 2009 in Ferron. Zeb had two wonderful step-sons Kadon and Cyrek Harrell, Jasmyn and Zeb were expecting a baby in April 2010.
Zeb had many talents and hobbies. He was an excellent artist and loved to draw. His favorite was drawing pictures of big bull elk bugling. He also liked to draw deer and cartoon characters for his niece. Zeb's hobbies included fly fishing, hunting, camping, golfing, riding motorcycles and 4-wheelers, looking for shed horns and spending time with his family.
Zeb had many professions including coal mining, to drilling, and wood working. He loved working with his hands and everyone who knew Zeb, knew that he was a great big teddy bear. He loved playing with his boys, nieces, nephew and he was a big kid himself. Zeb loved bugling like an elk and infact he taught all the children how to do it too.
He is survived by his wife, Jasmyn Harrell Gasser and her boys, Kadon and Cyrek; mother, Christy Gasser, Clawson; sisters, Sarah Gasser Allred, Clawson; Christia (Chandler) Lester, Rock Springs, Wyo.; brother, Zacariah Gasser and his dog Charlie Brown, Elko, Nev.; two nieces and one nephew, Brylei, Kaydence, and Trevor; his grandmothers, Ann Riley (David Stressing), Manti, Virginia Gasser, American Fork; mother- in-law, Debra Harrell, Burley, Idaho; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
