  The Salt Lake Tribune (UT) May 2, 2002 Debra Kay Gunnell Sheehan Our beautiful and beloved daughter, sister, mother, wife, and friend passed away on April 30, 2002, after a lingering illness. Debbie was born on Nov. 5, 1958, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Ray P. Gunnell and Ireta Nova Stewart. She grew up in the Magna and East Millcreek areas and graduated from Olympus High School in 1977. She attended Utah Technical College and in her unique adventurous nature became a machinist. She married Gerald Matthew Sheehan on May 1, 1992. They are the parents of a darling daughter Rachel Corinne Sheehan, born on April 7, 1995. Debbie was talented, generous, loving, artistic, musical, enjoyed cooking, camping and traveling. She adored her family and especially her beautiful daughter, Rachel. We will miss your fun loving spirit and your ability to always make us laugh. Your kindness and caring will always be remembered. We will always love you and miss you! Debbie was preceded in death by her mother, Ireta Gunnell. She is survived by Gerry Sheehan, husband; Rachel Sheehan, daughter; Ray Gunnell, father; Suzanne Welling, sister; Joel Gunnell, brother; Karen Bell, sister; Paul Gunnell, brother; Robert Gunnell, brother.
