Kartchner on April 22, 1951 in San Francisco, California, passed away on May 26, 2017 in Salt Lake City. Dave had a generous spirit and a great sense of humor. He was also a talented artist and musician, who played a mean game of chess. Dave struggled with mental illness, and his family would like to thank the staff at Midtown Manor for their loving care of Dave over the years. Preceded in death by his parents and brother, Daniel Lee, he is survived by his siblings, Judy L. Curtis, Mary Anne (Gerald) Chacon, Niles R. Kartchner, Alan B. (Diane) Kartchner, and Lucinda (Rolf) Larsen; and many nieces, nephews, and their children.
