Mr. Ryan was born Jan. 25, 1937, in Parma, N.Y., to Franklin and Mable Marie (Wilson) Ryan, who are deceased. He was married Nov. 7, 1988, in Colorado Springs to Sally Scott, who lives in Colorado Springs. Mr. Ryan also is survived by three daughters, Nichola Morin of Colorado Springs, Theresa Benton of Fort Hood, Texas, and Heather of Garden City, Kan.; a stepson, Chris Scott of Colorado Springs; a brother, Don of New York; a sister, Lucille Van Dorn of New York; six grandchildren; and his former wife, Margaret (Buckhurst) Ryan, who lives in Manitou Springs. He was preceded in death by a brother, Russell. Mr. Ryan served in the Air Force for 23 years, attaining the rank of technical sergeant. He loved his dog, Jack, and watching his grandsons play hockey. Mr. Ryan had lived in Colorado Springs since 1976.
