  The Springdale News September 26,1940 Funeral services for James Madison Curry, 62, resident of Springdale Since – May, 1939, who died at his Home here yesterday morning at 11:22, following a year's illness,were held this afternoon at 2:30 at the chapel of the Callison and Riggs Funeral home. Mr. Curry was born March 12,1878 at Pickinville, Alabama, and was a son of Melton Curry and Mollie Pullum Curry of Alabama. He was a brother of Zack Curry. Mr. Curry is survived by his wife Grace Curry. Mrs and Mrs. Curry resided near Shawnee, Okla. Before moving to Springdale.
