Elmer A. Enos, 89, of Binghamton, died at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Monday, June 20, 2005.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather to his family, his wife, Ethelyn; a daughter, Ethelyn V. Enos and her friend, Catherine Cornelius, Brackney, Pa.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce Enos and Khin Khin Gyi, Culver City, Calif., and Gary and Laurie Enos, Boston Heights, Ohio; his grandchildren, Jason, Crystal, Gary, Jr., Courtney and Anthony; a sister and brother-in-law, Marsha and Paul Miller, Columbia, Md.; a brother and sister-in-law, Warren and Ruth Enos, Livermore, Maine; also several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was a faithful member of First Congregational United Church of Christ, Binghamton. He was a retired meat cutter, a veteran of WW II, serving in the 82nd Air Bourne and a member of the D.A.V. Elmer will be remembered for his energy, sense of humor, love of birds, music and people, but most of all the love he had for his family.
