  Times News February 29, 2008 Clytie Irene Freeman, 78, died Monday, February 25, 2008. She was the daughter of William and Threse Marie Kingsley Haskell. She graduated from Santa Monica University High School. She married Orville V. Freeman on March 21, 1948, in Los Angeles, California. They resided in California until retirement, when they moved to Idaho, living in Heyburn and Burley. Clytie was privileged to be a stay-at-home mom. She loved being a homemaker and took great interest in the lives of her children. She was active in the PTA and was a member of the Whittier Church of Christ, where she instilled in her children the love of God. Clytie later worked at Cutler & Hammer in California and at the Burley Kmart Store. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, reading, puzzle books, photography and any type of arts and crafts. Most of all, she loved her family and looked forward to her involvement in the children and grandchildren's activities. She also had a great love for her dog, Benji. He was a great source of comfort to her. Survivors include her children, Tom (Ann) Freeman, Vickie Gonzales, Roxy (Joe) Goodrich, John (Bobbi) Freeman, Martha (Dave) Florke and David (Alice) Freeman, fifteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers, one sister and her in-laws.
