  The Dispatch-Argus (Moline, IL) July 3, 2011 Lucy A. States, 94, a resident of the Knox County Nursing Home in Knoxville, formerly of Galva, died Monday, June 27, 2011, at the home. Burial will be at Galva Cemetery. Survivors include her children, Katherine Parker and Elaine (Bill) Kendall, both of Galesburg and Jacqueline Cornell of Etowah, Tenn.; 14 grandchildren; many great- and great-great grandchildren; and three nieces and one nephew.
