  The Dispatch-Argus (Moline, IL) October 22, 2018 GENESEO — Gary A. Talbot, 59, of Geneseo, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 21, 2018, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, Ill. Gary was born on Feb. 7, 1959, the son of Kenneth A. and Helen (Batich) Talbot, in Geneseo. He graduated from Geneseo High School in 1977 and Sauk Valley Community College, in 1980. He married Jodell Singleton on May 27, 2007, in Moline. Gary was in retail management at Farm and Fleet, Term City and Trendy Rentals. He enjoyed stock car racing, horse racing and watching college football — especially the University of Utah. He was an avid Chicago Cubs and Chicago Blackhawks fan. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, JoDell; son, Zach (Rachel), of Rock Falls, Ill.; stepsons, Dustin, Josh, Blake and Carson; three grandsons and one grandaughter; brothers, Kenneth (Annette), of Rock Island, Joseph (Pamela), of Concord, N.C., Mark, of Geneseo, and Preston (Michelle), of Gurnee, Ill. His sisters are, Mary Fisher, of Colona, Ill., Karen (John) Lefman, of Kewanee, Ill., Phyllis (William) Eggerichs, of Charlotte, N.C., and Gail (Ron) Andrews, of Kewanee. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Helen; grandson, Brayden; and sisters, Elaine and Nancy.
