  The Dispatch-Argus (Moline, IL) February 11, 2012 JoAnne K. Talbot, 80, of Geneseo died Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012, at Trinity Rock Island. JoAnne Katherine Powers was born Oct. 4, 1931, in Geneseo, the daughter of Wallie and Bertha Heller Powers. She married Donald L. Talbot on Nov. 28, 1946, in Geneseo. He died on March 15, 1997. JoAnne was a member of Eastern Star. She loved doing yard work and volunteering in the Share program and at Hillcrest Home. Survivors include a daughter, Jeane Marie (Robert) Laskowski, Hawaii; son, Donald L. (Marlene) Talbot Jr., Davenport; four granddaughters; a grandson; 10 great-grandchildren; and brother, Paul David Powers, Geneseo. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Harold, Don and Jim; and sister, Pat.
